Upcoming Cyber Security Events in Australia for 2019
2018 was an eventful year for cyber security in Australia. The Notifiable Data Breach Act was enforced early on in the year and the My Health Record Act was amended to introduce stricter and more detailed regulations. AusCERT Conference 2019: 28-31 May, Surfers Paradise Marriott, Gold Coast
AusCERT is organised by one of the top Cyber Emergency Response Teams (CERT) in Australia. The theme of this year's event is "It's Dangerous to go Alone" and encourages attendees to bring their teams along for the ride. It aims to provide cyber security teams with knowledge building tools through exclusive talks and tutorials to prepare them for future threats.

OzSecCon 2019: 14-16 June, Melbourne Polytechnic Heidelberg Campus, West Heidelberg, Melbourne
This conference focuses on the physical security of data and devices.
