Australia's National Volunteering Conference is one of the country's largest events focused on highlighting opportunities in the volunteering sector. Various not for profit leaders, volunteer managers and policy contributors will be attending the conference and participating in events related to volunteerism.
The 2016 National Volunteering Conference is organised by Volunteering Australia, whose mission is to lead, strengthen, promote and celebrate volunteering in Australia. This event will take place in the National Convention Centre in Canberra from 6 April 2016 to 8 April 2016.
At the conference, attendees will acquire skills, gain knowledge, and meet others connected to volunteer programs. Attendees can expect to hear speeches from experts in volunteer management such as John Brogden, CEO of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. They can also participate in stimulating workshops, take part in social and "volunteering in action" events, and download a smartphone application to strengthen networking connections.
